The Ulltimate Yarn Resource

This information is taken directly from the site.

“Yarndex, the ultimate yarn resource, now features profiles for over 3,000 yarns. Recent additions include Lily Chin, Universal, Feza and Kona Bay. Coming soon: Trendsetter Jo Sharp and Curious Creek Fibers.

The Yarndex.com yarn directory is created to offer knitting enthusiasts a never before available guide to the world of yarn. It is the goal of Yarndex to present every quality yarn from all manufacturers across the globe in a single source that is easy to search, intuitive to use and that provides quick results to Yarndex users.”

Along with old favorites and classic staples, at Yarndex you shall find the newest varieties, the latest materials, the hottest colors, coming styles and trends from around the world.

You can click on the yarns in the showcase or look up a particular yarn and Yarndex will detail all information concerning the yarn including distributor, shade cards and MSRP.

The tabs at the top of the page, also help in finding a particular yarn. Products are listed in alpha order, fiber content, texture, weight, just about any way you can think of to find what you need. In addition, I find it very helpful to have the old yarn swatches available.
